My name is Nicholas Fonzi. I’m a tech guru with a passion for visual story telling, and audio technology. Nothing excites me more than capturing the perfect moment. I blend cinematic images with emotive narrative to create films that tug at your heart strings, and take you back to an exact time and place. I love my clients, and I am flattered to be asked to capture such important moments in their lives. My goal is to creatively capture every nuance, and emotion of your special day so that you are able to connect to those precious moments time and time again.

 

I’ve earned a Bachelor of Science from Ferris State University, as well as receiving formal training in graphic design, and photography. In 2007 I was elected the promotions director for the Music Industry Management Association producing events for Third Eye Blind, The Academy Is, Cobra Starship, The Rocket Summer, Armor for Sleep, and Josh Gracin. My career in live events has taken me on the road, and across North America where I have been involved in coordinating, promotions, live sound, lighting, rigging, performing, and my favorite - videography.  In 2013 I was the web content editor for an award winning marketing team that earned “Best Online Presentation” from the National Association of Music Merchants. Since 2016 I have been able to combine my passions at the Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival where I volunteer as a member of the tech crew, as well as contributing original scores for the opening video sequences.

 

Outside of my professional career I enjoy wildlife photography, writing music, and exploring my beautiful home state of Michigan.
